Ahna and Matt adventured all the way to Banff National Park from southern USA. It was such an honor to be contacted from people so far away, also Ahna is a photographer herself which makes it even cooler.
Ahna and Matt live nearby water so they really wanted some photos in the trees, specifically the big mountain pine trees that Banff is also well known for. It was nice to mix it up a bit for this mountain photo shoot since most clients dream of having professional images taken with majestic mountains and glowing blue lakes. I loved the change! For the weeks leading up to the photo shoot the whole park had been very smoky due to the B.C. forest fires. As a photographer it is a challenge to work in super smoky conditions but it also can make for an interesting atmosphere. Thankfully it had cleared up just enough for Ahna and Matts' session. We were able to see the colors of the sky but were left with a little bit of atmosphere.
I am so grateful for the people I meet in this adventure called life.
