These two are a prime example of a fairy tale meeting...I can't remember it exactly because it has been 6 months that they told me the story but here is the gist: B was studying in the the Rutherford library and somehow ended up with J's headphones, she did not know J at the time of using his headphones. J approached her and was like "hey, those are my headphones..." and then it all snowballed from there! They fell hard for each other bonding over things like Harry Potter, being silly together, and University life struggles. I can not tell this story in the nice and romantic way J + B could but I just love life and when random events like this bring two people together to the point of freaking getting married!
As Harry Potter, the U of A makes for the most perfect place to meet and to have their engagement session. It's as close as you can get to an over-grown and brick location in Edmonton.
It was super fantastic adventuring around the grounds with these two. They are so fun and have so many ideas for spots they want photos and things that they wanted to do. I know as the photographer it is my job to think of these things but when a client is also excited about it, that makes the session even more personal for them.
The University of Alberta is one of our favorite locations in Edmonton, especially in the fall at golden hour. It just photographs so well!
