As wedding videographers, Monikah and I have had the privilege of capturing countless special moments, but there was something truly magical about Katie and Steven's summer wedding. From start to finish, the day was filled with love, laughter, and stunning scenery that made our job an absolute joy.
The morning began with the boys and girls getting ready separately, each at their respective family homes. Steven and his groomsmen gathered at his parents' house while Katie, her bridesmaids, and their furry companion got ready at her childhood home. There were plenty of happy tears and excited chatter as everyone prepared for the big day ahead.
The wedding ceremony took place at Hasting Lake Gardens, a breathtaking venue where everything was in full bloom. The ceremony was held in the shade of a beautiful gazebo covered in vines, which created an enchanting atmosphere. The couple exchanged vows, surrounded by their loved ones, and we were there to capture every moment.
After the ceremony, we had the pleasure of exploring the gardens with the wedding party, taking photos and sharing plenty of laughter along the way. The vines and greenery made for a stunning backdrop that we couldn't resist capturing on film.
As the sun began to set, the wedding party made their way to the Snow Valley Ski Club in Edmonton for the reception. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, tears of joy, and plenty of dancing. It was an intimate celebration of love, and we were so honoured to be a part of it.
Working with Katie and Steven was an absolute pleasure. They were a dream couple to work with, full of love and joy, and we couldn't be happier to have been a part of their special day. Congratulations to the happy couple, and we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together.
