This summer, on a hot and sunny day, Erica and Shawn tied the knot. It was the kind of day that most people dream of for their wedding.
The morning was laid back while Erica and Shawn prepped for the big wedding day ahead. Erica got glammed up by the talented Behind The Blush. Shawn relaxed with the guys, eating brunch, and enjoying drinks.
We headed down to one of Edmonton's beautiful south side parks for an intimate first look. This followed by photos directed by the awesome Scade team, Shaun and Steph. Finally, it was time to get married! The ceremony took place in an amphitheater under the Art Gallery of Alberta. The theater was lit by candle. Erica and Shawn had a friend, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, serenade everyone with beautiful music. As you can probably imagine their ceremony was as romantic as can be.
Guest waited for the party to start by hanging out on the rooftop patio. They got to enjoy selfie-worthy downtown views, signature drinks, and appetizers...all while live music played in the background, again by Michael Bernard Fitzgerald.
At the reception, no detail was missed. Jennifer Bergman always does a killer job with decor. The colors were grey and sunshine yellow. There was a candy bar (ummm, yes please!), 5 course meal presented by Zinc, a photo booth by Neat, and pumping music by Dj Harman.
It was a picture perfect wedding and we were honored to be part of this day. Thanks Erica and Shawn!
