So it's happened! They popped the question. You said "YES". Now you're planning all the details for when you tie the knot. Like most newly engaged couples your probably thinking "well...what do I do now?". Let us help you a little bit.
First things first, you need to decide how many people you are going to invite. Will it be 20 of your closest family and friends, everyone you know and love, or everyone you know and love plus everyone they know and love. Keep in mind that more people = bigger budget.
Secondly, where do YOU want to get married and when? (We say YOU because there will be many people making suggestions but this is your wedding and you need to do what you feel is right). Do you want to get married on a secluded beach, an exotic international destination, on top of a mountain, in a lush forest, at a church, in your home, ect? The venue is the first thing you need to book. So what's next? Book all of your other vendors. Many wedding vendors (including us) book up a year in advance so it's important to secure as many things as you can to make sure you get the team you want for your wedding. Finally, it's time to figure out the details and logistics of the day. Such as taking engagement photos, timelines, the dress, the suit, bridemaids/groomsmen, rings, decor, cake, invitations, ect. Remember to have fun with the whole process! It is going to be stressful at times but in the end all that really matters is you and the person you are marrying, everything else is just extra.
