Sania and Irfan are one of the most easy going and adventurous couples we know. From the moment we met them we instantly connected. We were drawn to Sania's calm and kind demeanor and Irfan's spark for life.
Sania got ready at her family home. Irfan got ready with all his closest friends and family. It was a fun morning full of shenanigans.
The wedding Ceremony was held at Jamatkhana - Edmonton Headquarters in South Edmonton. It is a one of Edmonton's top venues for Ismaili weddings. We love getting to photograph and film here. After the ceremony we headed on over to Black Hawk Golf Course for some formal photos. We were in a bit of a rush because a rain storm was rolling in and Sania and Irfan had to change outfits. So after 20 minutes of portraits Sania and Irfan went to change. In that time it started pouring...which was totally ok because Sania and Irfan were not going to let a little bit of rain phase them! So we continued with taking photos under an umbrella (some of my favs shots!) and some images inside the bar. Both were options that worked out so well.
The reception was held at Black Hawk Gold Course. This is one of Edmonton premier venues. With it's amazing location and modern ballroom, it's no surprise why. While you enjoy cocktail hour you can watch the sunset over the North Saskatchewan from the balcony. It's the perfect setting to spend the last hours on your wedding day dancing the night away with friends and family. We couldn't have been more honored to have been able to film and photograph Sania and Irfans wedding. Thank you for having us and we hope you two have a long and joyful marriage. Congrats!
