As a wedding videographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most intimate and special moments in people's lives. Tannu and Viraj's wedding was no exception, and it was an absolute stunner. The week-long celebrations were filled with vibrant colours, rich cultural traditions, and an overwhelming feeling of love and happiness.
The events took place across Edmonton, starting with the Mirage Banquet Hall, where the couple's sangeet was held. The atmosphere was electric, and everyone was in high spirits as they celebrated the upcoming nuptials. The decor was beautiful, and the food was delicious, setting the tone for the rest of the week.
The next set of events in Tannu and Viraj's wedding celebrations were the Haldi, Sainth, and Mehndi ceremonies. The events took place at the couple's respective homes, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. The Haldi ceremony, also known as the "turmeric ceremony," is a traditional pre-wedding ritual where a paste of turmeric and other herbs is applied to the bride and groom to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits. The Mehndi ceremony, also known as the "henna ceremony," is a traditional pre-wedding ritual where intricate henna designs are applied to the bride's hands and feet. All of these events were filled with vibrant colours, rich cultural traditions, and an overwhelming feeling of love and happiness.
Tannu and Viraj's Hindu wedding ceremony was a truly breathtaking event. The venue of choice, the Mirage Banquet Hall, provided the perfect setting for the couple's traditional nuptials. The ceremony was filled with rich cultural traditions and vibrant colours, creating a truly mesmerizing atmosphere. The ceremony was a true representation of the couple's love, heritage, and the joining of two families. The guests were mesmerized by the stunning decorations and the beautiful rituals of the ceremony.
The final event was the grand reception, which was held at the Grand Imperial Banquet Hall. The hall was beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere was electric as everyone celebrated the newlyweds. The couple looked absolutely stunning, and their love for each other was evident in every moment of the day. The speeches, the dances, and the love shared between the families was so moving.
As a wedding videographer, it is an honour to be chosen to capture such an intimate time between two families. I am always amazed by the beauty of each wedding I film, and Tannu and Viraj's was no exception. The couple made it look effortless, but I'm sure the planning process was months in the making.
